      • Q: Can I ask small/large cap size?

        Our stock is standard Medium cap size (22.5inch Circumference), and there are 3 combs inside, with adjustable strap at back. If you need large (23.5inch Circumference) or small (21.5inch Circumference) cap size, please contact customer service directly. Kindly reminder: for 360 lace wig, full lace wig only have average size.
      • Q: Is your hair human hair?

        Yes, all our hair are 100% human hair, can restyled it.
      • Q: How to choose the hair length?

        To the hair length, may I know which part of the body do you want your hair to reach? Each person's height is different, and the effect of wearing it is different. The visual effects of straight hair and wavy hair are also different. Here are two pictures for reference.
      • Q: Is the hair knots bleached or hairline pre-plucked?

        All our hair is lightly pre-plucked, it can save your time to wear wig, if you need more pre-plucked hairline, you also can do it again by yourself according your needs. We we also can help you bleached the knots, if you needs, pls contact customer service directly.
      • Q: Can it be dyed or colored?

        Asteria Hair can be dyed or bleached to #27. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighter the hair. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions as you will get the results you want, coloring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. If you can not get to a salon, always use a good quality hair dye and test a small sample first.
      • Q: Can I customize my hair?

        Yes, we can customize the hair for you. Pls contact our customer service, and tell us the details, if you have picture would be better. Kindly reminder: customization time is slower than usual processing time, if you don’t mind it, contact us!
      • Q: Does the hair have to be glued?

        You can try to install the wig with glue or glueless. There is adjustable strap at the back and 3 combs inside to secure the wig and doesn’t move at all.
      • Q: Any recommendations for hair newer?

        We suggest closure wig or headband wig, all are beginner friendly wig, easy to install.

      • Q: The flash sale product price is low, is it synthetic hair? Is the product quality bad?

        No, pls don’t worry, all our hair are 100% human hair, it’s also good quality. The flash sale price is low just because we do promotional activities to give back to our customers.

      • Q: What are the payment methods can I use?

        Currently we accept PayPal/ Debit Card /Credit card /Klarna. If you need other payment methods, such as Cash App, Zelle, Western Union, etc, please consult Asteria customer service for more information.
      • Q: Why the payment is declined?

        To help protect your account, PayPal uses a complex screening process for credit card payments. This helps prevent lost or stolen cards from being used for unauthorized transactions. On rare occasions, the screening process affects valid cards.

        Currently, only Klarna and PayPal are accepted for installment payment.

        Usually, your order can shipped out within 24 hours after confirmation if it’s in stock;

        Most orders takes 1-3 business days processing after confirmation; but if the product you order is customized wig or hot-selling wig or length, then the processing time may be longer than 1-3 business.

        Customers don't need to pay for shipping, only a few exceptions: customers place a order for flash sale product, and customers’ address are not in USA.

      • Q: Why did I not receive the order confirmation email?

        We will send a confirmation email to the email address you filled in when you placed the order.

        1)First, you need to check whether the email address you left when placing the order is correct.

      • Q: Why did I buy more than 2 hairs, but only received 1?

        If there are two or more orders, one order corresponds to one package. If you only received one, don't worry, we will notify the tracking number of the other order later.
      • Q: Why my package via FedEx is still pending? Why hasn't the scheduled delivery time shown yet?

        Because the package is in transit and there is no expected delivery date temporarily, the delivery date will be updated later.
      • Q: I find that the scheduled delivery date of the package is later than the time I want, can I expedite it?

        The scheduled delivery date is not 100% accurate, because the logistics company has taken into account the epidemic situation and some special circumstances. So the estimated delivery date may be earlier than the date shown on the website.       • Q: Can I change the shipping address after shipped out?

        For your order has been shipped out, if you want to change the shipping address, we need to intercept the package firstly, the delivery time will be delayed, and we cannot ensure the intercept can 100% successfully.

    3. Hair Problem

      • Q: My hair is shedding when I wash it, is that normal?

        Yes, that’s very common in wigs, especially curly and wavy textures. There may be loose hairs from the tracks and those loose hairs will be removed from the wig during the co-wash. As long as there aren’t clumps of hair being released from the wig, your hair is fine.
      • Q: Why is it important to wash my hair before wearing it?

        Wigs are made with human hair and sew them on the weft and lace to become a wig, during these manufacturing process, there are 100% would have few loose hair still left inside the wig, so co-washing removes all the loose hair then could avoid the loose hair tangling in the wig. It also helps to moisturize and hydrate your hair when preparing to style.

      • Q: My wig has a crunchy feeling and looks dry and brittle. Why is that?

        This usually happens when high heat has been applied to the hair continuously, or hair hasn't been conditioned for a certain period. To avoid this use hot tools only when necessary with proper temperature, please see the above daily maintenance section. Another option is to use a hair masque or deep conditioner to help keep your hair moisturized.
      • Q: Why is my hair shedding and tangling? How do I detangle it?

        Asteria has worked in the human hair industry for over 10 years, researching the best method of giving the best quality hair. Shedding is natural for human hair. Hair on the human head sheds 50-100 hairs daily. Hair sewn on the lace and the wefts have a similar effect. If you see a small amount of hairs loosening from your wigs/wefts do not be alarmed, this is very common in all hair extension products.

        Quick tip: Professional hairstylists place a small amount of clear glue on the tracks of the wefts to keep hairs from loosening and minimize the shedding before use the wig or bundles.

        One of the reasons for excess shedding is tangling. Depending on the excess of tangles on the hair, the shedding can be more or less. To avoid these tangles, brush your hair on a daily basis. (See our daily maintenance section on section 1.) Detangle your hair before styling. Not detangling your hair can actually cause the hair to shed more than expected.

        Another important step to detangling is using the right detangling method depending on the texture of the hair. Curly textures (deep wave, water wave, deep curly, and kinky curly,etc) require more care than straight or body wave textures. Use your fingers to comb sections of the hair with a light conditioner or Moroccan oil to detangle. Using fine combs aren’t recommended for detangling on the curly textures. See our daily maintenance section to see which brush is appropriate for daily hair care depending on your texture.

        Lack of hydration can also cause shedding. Shampoo and condition your hair appropriately, as mentioned in the instructions previously, to maintain it moisturized. Don’t forget to use deep conditioners and hair masks on a weekly basis, these products can give a little extra moisture to your hair.

      • Q: Why the hair I received different from the picture?

        Normally the wigs in the pictures or videos that we post on our social media are installed and restyled by hairstylists, so it would look more gorgeous. But actually it is the same as yours with the same materials. Therefore, you can ask a hairstylist to help you install.
    4. Hair Care Tips

      • Q: How to comb your wig?

        When brushing use a soft bristle brush or Use a smooth-edged wide-toothed comb start at the ends of your hair and gently work your way up, in this way it avoids tangling and pulling damage. Always brush in a downward motion and do not brush harshly.
      • Q: Can I use hot tools on my hair?

        Yes, you can use hot tools for hair. We recommend using high temperatures with caution and highly recommend applying a heat protectant before styling. When using hot tools, we suggest temperatures under 350F degrees for colored hair, and under 400F degrees for natural colored hair to avoid dryness. Do not leave any hot tools on the hair for no more than 30 seconds. Once done styling your hair, clean your hot tools, because on the hot tools might have few loose hair since you pulling down or curl the hair on the tool, so there might few loose hair but it's normal. As well as you clean up the hair on the hot tool, then it's fine~
      • Q: Why is it important to wash my hair before wearing it?

      • Q: How many times should I wash my wig/bundles?

        Washing varies by how often you wear your wig. On average we recommend washing your hair twice every week, if used on a daily basis, to maintain it hydrated and remove any bacteria from the lace. For special occasions, like days at the beach or on vacation in humid areas, wash your hair at night and allow it to air dry overnight. Don’t forget to condition the wig after wash, and really important that wash it clear after all the steps.
      • Q: What do I do with my wig when I’m not wearing it?

        If you’re taking off your unit for a short period of time (to sleep, shower, etc.) you can place it on a mannequin head or a wig standard. If you’re looking to store your wig for a longer period of time then place your hair in a satin bag and place it in a cool, dry area.
      • Q: Can I straighten or curl my hair?

        Yes, but pls remember frequent use of high heat may cause the hair is dry.

        Just like our own hair, your human hair requires a good maintenance routine to keep it looking fresh and vibrant.

      • Q: Can I wear my wig to sleep?

        Normally, sleeping in your wigs is not generally recommended by wig experts, but sometimes we have to, following these tips to protect your wig during sleep pls.

        1). Wrap you head.

        Whether your wig is a human hair or synthetic, it will be damaged by too much friction. Friction can deteriorate the fibers and cause a loss of hair over time. It also leads to tangles, frizz, and dryness, all of which are a pain.

        To protect your wig from friction, lay the hair flat against your head and pin or tie it into place. Then, wrap you head in silk or satin scarf. This will keep you unit in place while also protecting it from friction.

        2).Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.

        3).Comb your wig thoroughly in the morning.

        When you wake up, you may or may not have a serious case of bedhead. Carefully brush or comb your wig to remove any tangles that may have formed overnight. This will prevent the hair from matting or frizzing over the course of the rest of the day. If you have looks flat in some areas, use a little water, leave-in conditioner or wig spray and gently fluff it.

        4).Give your wig a break

        Try not to sleep in your wig often. Over time, all that friction will lead to split ends, frizz, matting, and other issues. In short, it will shorten the lifespan of your wig.

        Many women have both a sleeping wig and a daytime wig; that way, both wigs can maintain maximum longevity.

      • Q: Can I swim with my wig?

        Yes, you can. But here are some tips you need to know.

        The pool contains chlorine, which is a chemical substance, chlorine will hurt our hair. And salt in water will also absorb moisture from the hair weave and make the hair lose luster and become more brittle.

        We suggest you wear swimming cap to protect your wig, or make sure the right style,you'd better braid your hair, or updo hairstyle.

        After swimming, you need wash your hair as quickly as possible, use high quality shampoo to wash away the salt and chemicals from your hair. It is best to have an overnight deep condition. This prevents dryness and extends the lifespan of the wig.
