26 inch 300% density 13x6 HD laceAvg Asteria honestly has the best hair in my opinion. The lace takes bleach so well, you actually get the density you pay for, and the hair is high quality. This is my second wig from this company. I will say that the hair on my first wig did shed a lot eventually but it was curly so that means higher maintenance, so that could be the reason. I haven’t had this hair installed long enough to judge the shedding, but so far so good. The pictures with the hearts are the only ones I have before I cut layers. But the hair is definitely true to length. The only thing I don’t like is how long it takes to deliver. 28inch/300% Density Real Review -The shedding is realAvg I purchased the hair March 2025, it is now May 2025 and the hair is great quality along with the lace. My hair routine:
Daily Wear:I wear the hair at the minimum 3-4x a week.
Products Used: I've curled this hair two times. If I want a curly look it is ALWAYS heatless curls. I use Tresme shampoo/conditioner.
Ranking of the hair: 1=poor, 5=Awesome
Hair Quality =5
Lace Quality =5
True to Length =5
Customer Service =5
Shedding =2
My hair sheds so much that I am getting a bald spot at the crown of the wig. My wig sheds so much I try to avoid brushing my hair in the house, I will brush it outside if I can to avoid cleaning up the hair. I've tried sealing the knots on two different occasions, and it helps, but it still sheds. For $500+, I expect more. In order to cover up the bald spot at the crown I will either need to buy extensions or something else.
Bottom line, I would not purchase this wig again nor any other wig from Asteria just because of the shedding. I was looking to purchase a curly wig from Asteria, but given that I am having serious shedding issues with the body wave that I have, I will be looking elsewhere.
